Job Description:

Teavee Oil and Gas is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Oil and Gas Well Tender to monitor, maintain, and operate oil and gas wells in the Putnam and Cabell County area. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal production levels, perform routine maintenance / performance reporting, and troubleshoot equipment issues to prevent downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor well production and pressure levels, making necessary adjustments.
• Perform routine maintenance on wellheads, tanks, and pipelines.
• Identify and resolve mechanical or operational issues.
• Conduct regular inspections and record production data.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Operate equipment such as pumps, separators, and compressors.
• Report abnormalities and assist with repairs or upgrades.
• Work in coordination with field supervisors and other crew members.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in oil and gas production or a related field is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently in remote locations.
• Strong attention to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Valid driver’s license.
• CDL class A or higher is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
• Ability to traverse remote areas; on foot or assisted with ATV or combination of the two.
• Able to pass drug and alcohol test.
• Standing, walking, and climbing for extended periods.
